Habe jetzt seit drei Tagen den Fernseher in Betrieb und bin mehr als zufrieden damit. Ein perfektes scharfes Bild. Viele Anschlussmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Ich benutze ihn als Zweitgerät im Schlafzimmer und dafür ist er mehr als ausreichend! Das integrierte DVB T hat alle Sender gefunden. Die Fernbedienungsoptionen sind super angeordnet.

Sollte mal mein PC Monitor den Geist aufgeben so kann ich den TV auch als PC Monitor benutzen. Der Sound ist OK.

Lediglich zu bemängeln ist der USB Anschluss, der zwar vorhanden ist aber nur für Service Wartungsarbeiten zu benutzen ist! Leider ist auch kein Netzschalter vorhanden und somit ist er also ständig im Standby Modus. Dieses stört mich aber nicht weil ich eine Steckdose mit Netzschalter benutze! Ferner ist der Standby Modus geringer als 1 W.

der XV 633 d hat aber 30.000:1 Kontrast, kein Resolution+, einen HDMI Port weniger, kein beleuchtetes Toshiba Zeichen, ein etwas anderes Design, Lautsprecher nur 2x 20 Watt und keinen drehbaren Fuss.

Es gibt aber auch eine 42XV633D Variante mit 50.000:1 Kontrast und Resolution+, aber auch nur 3 HDMI, kein beleuchtetes Logo, kein drehbarer Fuss und nur 2x 20 Watt Musik.
Hier Antwort vom Toshiba Kundendienst:
In der Tat handelt es sich bei dem 37XV633D um ein “Aktionsmodell”, eine technisch reduzierte Variante des 42XV635D.
So hat der 42XV633D 3 statt 4 HDMI-Eingänge, ein Kontrastverhältnis von 30.000:1 und 2 x 20 Watt Gesamtmusikleistung (2 x 25 Watt beim 42XV635D). Darüberhinaus verfügt der 42XV633D nicht über die Resolution+ Technologie.
Die restlichen technischen Spezifikationen sind identisch.

Es gibt jedoch XV633 Geräte, die mit Bauteilen der XV635-Reihe ausgestattet worden sind. Die Geräte aus dieser Produktionscharge haben die gleichen technischen Spezifikationen wie die XV635-Reihe ( 50.000:1 Kontrasverhältnis, Resolution+ )
Sollte Ihr Gerät auf den Aufklebern die gleichen Angaben haben wie die XV635-Reihe, sind die Spezifikationen identisch mit dem XV635, ausgenommen der Musikleistung und der Anzahl der HDMI-Eingänge.

Ich besitze den zwiten LCD, das Bild des ist bei analoger und sigitaler Speisung super.

Analog betreibe ich den TV mit einem digitalen Satellitenreceiver verbunden über S-Video.
Hier spielt die Bildverbesserung Resolution+ voll ihre Stärken aus. Durch die 100 Hz
sind bei schnellen Bewegungen keine Schlieren zu sehen. Um das Bild noch zu verbessern kann
man mit der Bildstabilisierung und einer Rauschunterdrückung nachhelfen.
Es gibt sehr viele Möglichkeiten das Bild den individuellen Wünschen anzupassen.

Digital schaue ich BluRays und spiele an der PS3 - Bild top.

Super finde ich die Funktion AutoView, mit dieser Funktion kann man super Strom sparen.
Der TV misst die Umgebungshelligkeit und passt die Helligkeit des Panels an. Die
Automatik kann man im Menü selber einstellen also für jede Umgebungshelligkeit die persönliche
Helligkeit anpassen.
Abends war mir die Beleuchtung zum Beispiel zu dunkel, also von 20% auf 40% geändert und super.

Kann den Toshiba also nur empfehlen.
